For a small town, Fort Edward, NY is quite walkable. There are countless routes to explore, whether when taking a quick break from work or spending a few hours on Saturday morning meandering around. A big — and rare — bonus, is the ability to arrive in Fort Edward by train via Amtrak and walk a quick 5 minutes to both the business district and the Hudson River.
