Fort Edward, NY is accessible by train from New York City via Amtrak’s Ethan Allen Express line. which provides daily service between NYC and Burlington, VT, with stops in Albany and the Hudson Valley. There are few towns nearby with rail access, and even fewer where the train drops you off directly in the town center.
